Octane HDR/Texture Environment
OctaneRender® defaults to a basic dome light environment, which is accessible from Octane Settings > Settings tab > Env. This tab contains the default environment color assigned to the dome light.

However, it is far more likely that a more sophisticated lighting environment is required. Octane offers four different type of environments, or environment lighting options:
Octane Daylight Environment
Octane Planetary Environment
Octane HDR Environment
Octane Texture Environment
These Environments are discussed in the following sections (the HDR and Texture Environments are combined into a single discussion).
